What you are most likely to find in my lunch box:
Yogurt, chia seeds, granola, peanut butter, chocolate chips, and a banana to make the best parfait you’ve ever seen.
If I were trying to impress my dinner guests, I would make:
Penne alla vodka with homemade garlic bread
Yearbook quote: “If the plan doesn’t work… change the plan”
My Story
I have always loved food. I was a picky eater as a child, but loved learning about food science and baking whenever I could. In high school, I discovered running and began to notice how closely nutrition and performance were linked. Like many teenagers, I had a complicated relationship with food, but this allowed me to learn firsthand how nourishing myself made a real difference in how I felt and performed and this fascinated me.
When I started college, I was a business major with no idea that nutrition was even a field of study. Once I found it though, everything clicked—I changed my major and never looked back. Today, my work focuses on supporting individuals with eating disorders, athletes and those seeking a healthier relationship with food. I take a non-diet approach, grounded in the belief that all foods can fit within a balanced lifestyle.
In addition to being a dietitian, I am also a certified personal trainer and registered yoga teacher, which allows me to integrate movement and mindfulness into my work as appropriate. Whether you’re in recovery from an eating disorder or simply looking for nutrition guidance, I help clients move away from the rigid rules
of diet culture and toward a more compassionate, flexible relationship with food.
My goal is to help clients bring joy and ease back to eating. I believe food is not meant to be a source of stress, but a source of connection, comfort, and nourishment. Over time, diet culture can cause us to lose touch with our body’s wisdom—my role is to help you reconnect with that intuition and find freedom in how you eat and move.
