What I would make for a dinner party with friends: I'd probably make breakfast for dinner, because I would always choose to host a breakfast/brunch over a dinner. Included would definitely be some homemade from scratch cinnamon rolls (I love to bake), an aesthetic snack/charcuterie board with yummy dips, roasted potato/veggie and egg hash, and fresh sourdough bread with butter. There would also be place settings at the table for every guest and some kind of candle/flower arrangement to make it the cutest party ever!!!

My Story
I've always been deeply curious about the human experience, which is really at the core of my exploration into the world of mental health. My passion for holistic mental health promotion and the mind-body-spirit connection, particularly in the treatment of disordered eating, led me (with a bunch of unexpected turns and road bumps) to my career in occupational therapy. As an occupational therapist, I believe that the things we need to do and want to do every day form us -- we're humans who do, be, become, and belong. My role is to support you in building and living out a life that is meaningful, balanced, and satisfying to you through systematic problem-solving and practice, lifestyle-based interventions, and education that equips you to sustain recovery and health in the long term. I will always meet you where you're at, with compassion and without judgment. I will always encourage play across the lifespan, mindfulness in the mundane moments of life, and routines/rhythms to enable access to your full potential. Together, we will work on practical strategies that empower you to feel more confident and able to apply the strengths and skills you have in your day-to-day life. We'll explore your identity, goals, and values through participation, and we'll engage in your environment, your community, and your real life.
In our first session, I'll get to know you (a day in the life, what you do for fun/leisure, what you're passionate about, your strengths and the challenges in your day-to-day, etc.), and you'll get to know more about what occupational therapy could look like for you. From day 1, we'll be a collaborative team to ensure the therapeutic process is meaningful and relevant to you.
